This Christmas classic tells the tale of a department store Santa Claus who claims to be the real deal. Of course, Old St. Nick is met with plenty of skepticism and even concern over his mental well-being. But in the end, even the naysayers learn to have faith in the magic of Christmas.
With so many items to check off their to-do lists, Enneagram Ones can struggle to get into the holiday spirit. That’s why Miracle on 34th Street is the perfect film to remind them of the magic of the season.
Enneagram 2 — Love Actually
With 10 intersecting storylines about love during the holidays, Love Actually has become one of the most beloved holiday films of the 21st century. From a grumpy rock ‘n roll legend who learns what’s truly important, to a young Prime Minister who is willing to risk it all for love, this movie is a must-watch — especially if you’re an Enneagram Two.
Compassionate Twos love a good love story (or 10!), making Love Actually one of the best holiday films for this type. This Christmas favorite will leave any Two feeling warm and fuzzy inside, whether it’s their first or 100th time watching it!
Enneagram 3 — The Holiday
Ever wanted to escape it all during the holidays, move to the other side of the world, and fall in love? Then you’ll love The Holiday. This film tells the story of two women — one in California and one in England — who trade (incredibly amazing!) houses over the holidays, and while doing so, learn exactly what they’ve been missing in their lives.
Career-oriented Enneagram Threes will relate to Cameron Diaz’s character in The Holiday, who learns that there is more to life than her work. Threes will also appreciate the journey both women take to unlearn unhealthy habits in life and love, and discover how to create more balanced and fulfilled lives.
Enneagram 4 — The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Nightmare Before Christmas is an eclectic fantasy film that doesn’t quite fit the traditional Christmas movie mold. When Jack Skeleton stumbles upon Christmas Town, he realizes all that he is missing and becomes obsessed with the holiday.
This Tim Burton classic is one of the most unique Christmas movies of all time, making it the perfect film for the quirky Enneagram Four. Fours will love the dark and bizarre aspects of this holiday favorite.
Enneagram 5 — How the Grinch Stole Christmas
On a mountaintop above the town of Whoville lives the reclusive Grinch. How the Grinch Stole Christmas features the adventure of the Grinch, who attempts to destroy Christmas forever, only to realize that the holiday is pretty special after all.
Analytical and withdrawn, Enneagram Fives may need to warm into the holiday spirit, just like the Grinch! Even a Five can’t say “bah humbug” after watching this holiday classic.
Enneagram 6 — Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Although he’s “the most famous reindeer of all,” Rudolph wasn’t always so popular. Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer tells the story of the misfit reindeer with a bright red nose as he looks for someone who will accept him for who he is.
Like Rudolph, Enneagram Sixes may also find it hard to fit in, and they won’t trust just anyone. But when they do find a sense of belonging, they are loyal for life. Sixes will love to get together with their favorite people and watch this nostalgic film.

One of the most popular Christmas comedies of all time, Elf is about a human named Buddy who was raised by Santa’s elves in the North Pole. As he searches for his biological father, Buddy shares Christmas cheer with everyone around him.
Elf is all about finding love, childlike wonder and joy during the holidays, making it the perfect movie for upbeat Enneagram Sevens. Sevens won’t be able to help but relate to Buddy’s optimism and bright spirit.
Enneagram 8 — Home Alone
Home Alone is a holiday movie about a 10-year-old boy named Kevin who has to defend his house against intruders when his parents accidentally leave him home alone after leaving for a family vacation.
Fierce and determined Enneagram Eights will root for Kevin as he stands up to the bad guys throughout the film. Home Alone is about fighting for what you love and never giving up, messages that certainly resonate with type Eights.
Enneagram 9 — It’s a Wonderful Life
A Christmas classic, this holiday drama follows the story of George Bailey, a man who feels like his life lacks meaning and contemplates suicide on Christmas Eve. After hearing the prayers of his family, an angel shows up and shows George all of the moments that have made his life meaningful to others.
Like Enneagram Nines, It’s a Wonderful Life is about looking at life from a different perspective and finding peace with what you have. Nines will fall in love with George’s story as he discovers how special his life truly is.
