Chances are, you're close to the middle on one or more spectrums. So, for example, if the test showed you as ISTJ...

Maybe your I is mild, so you're really more akin to ISTJ/ESTJ (denoted as xSTJ)
Or your S is mild, so you're really more akin to ISTJ/INTJ (denoted as IxTJ)
Or your T is mild, so you're really more akin to ISTJ/ISFJ (denoted as ISxJ)
Or your J is mild, so you're really more akin to ISTJ/ISTP (denoted as ISTx)

Basically, if the test result was on a scale of 1-99 where 1 = I, 99 = E, and 50 = balance (denoted as x); and it showed you as an I, you might only be at 45 a.k.a. a little bit introverted.

I know as I read through comments from others about INFJs, I don't seem as extreme as many other INFJs. In fact, my I and J were at about 15% leaning-towards I and J; and my N and F were at about 5% leaning towards N and F. I saw a comment from someone else saying they tested at about 55% leaning towards I - which is, like, some intense-extreme level of being introverted. I mean, the INFJ description describes me spot-on, but I haven't experienced the same kind of in-my-head low-self-esteem thinking-I'm-a-freak sort of thing a lot of other INFJ posters are talking about.
