Which Zodiac Signs are the Most Extraverted?

It’s easy to spot an Extravert – these are the people who draw energy from meeting and hanging out with new people or being surrounded by big crowds and busy-ness. While personality typing and astrology are two different schools of thought, according to astrologists there are some zodiac signs that are more likely to be Extraverts than others.

1. Leo (July 23rd - August 22nd)

Leos are imbued with the radiance and dominance of the Sun, resulting in a bright, cheery personality with natural leadership skills. Leos’ generous spirit and ability to bring people together means that a Leo is rarely without a close circle of loyal friends.

Naturally extraverted, Leos draw from their almost limitless pool of social energy when they’re around people. Their positivity and humor energize any room they’re in. Like many Extraverts, Leos want to feel admired and loved, so they can sometimes feel lost and unhappy when they’re alone. Their thirst for approval and admiration can often lead them to show off if they feel like they’re being ignored. Like the Sun, their energy radiates outward and can sometimes be a bit too much if it’s not channeled in the right way!

2. Sagittarius (November 22nd - December 21st)

Sagittarians are famously independent and strong-willed. They can be loud – sometimes even brash or blunt – and adventurous, so they share many of the traits of classic Myers and Briggs Extraverts. 

Sagittarian Extraverts tend to love meeting new people thanks to their outgoing nature. Their spontaneous streak and desire to get off the beaten track and discover something new often inspires them to explore faraway places and meet new people. This aspect of their personality also helps them with networking in a professional environment. They tend to have a large circle of acquaintances and friends around the world.

At the same time, Sagittarians are also unafraid to explore their own hearts and minds, so they tend to have good self-awareness, something that’s often associated with more introverted personality types. 3. Aries (March 21st - April 19th)

Born at the start of the zodiac cycle, Aries is all about new beginnings. People born under Aries tend to exhibit almost childlike optimism and energy, making them more likely to have a positive and receptive attitude towards new people. This makes Aries one of the most extraverted zodiac signs.

An Aries Extravert will usually be trusting of new people and happy to approach and speak to complete strangers, whoever they are. But if you make the mistake of abusing an Aries’ naturally trusting side, it is hard to win back! 

Aries also have an ambitious, competitive streak. They are bold and fierce and can often try to prove themselves by being at the center of any social gathering or networking event. Aquarians are also passionate about fairness, respect and the overall balance of a group, so they will never be afraid to speak up against bullying or gossip when they see it happening. This applies to their social circle and their workplace.

Once they’ve organized everything, they’re comfortable sitting back and soaking up the good times, surrounded by their favorite people. They don’t feel the need to prove themselves or stand out and they prioritize collaboration over individual glory.

Aquarians’ desire for harmony and friendship at all costs can sometimes mean they’re seen as people pleasers by others, prioritizing short-term peace over tough decisions and necessary conflict. However, their extraverted personality type helps to create a calm and positive atmosphere in their social group, wherever they are.
