All of the TypeFinder tests are based on the personality theory created by Isabel Myers and Katharine Briggs. Each TypeFinder test measures your preferences on Myers and Briggs' four dimensions of personality type.

TypeFinder for Individuals (a.k.a. TypeFinder Personality Test)
The TypeFinder for Individuals is the same exact test as the TypeFinder Personality Test, just renamed for use within the Truity @ Work platform to help clarify the difference between this version and the others.
The TypeFinder for Individuals/TypeFinder Personality Test is the most comprehensive version of our TypeFinder assessments. It looks at preferences on the four main dimensions of personality, as well as across 23 facets of personality. The report covers each facet in detail, and provides a comprehensive overview of the core 4-letter personality type including personal style, relationship style, work style, and strategies for growth. TypeFinder for Individuals - 2013 Edition
This is a basic edition of the TypeFinder assessment, ideal for users who are new to personality type or those who prefer a simple report. The report provides an overview of the four-letter type including cognitive style, relationship style, work style, and strategies for growth. While the above reports provide a greater level of detail, you may want to choose this edition if you prefer a shorter assessment with a simpler report that covers both work and home life. Choose this version of the TypeFinder for clients who are working on choosing a career. The TypeFinder for Career Planning combines a personality type assessment with a measure of career interests according to John Holland's RIASEC framework.
