Reviews of TypeFinder® Personality Test

My husband actually completed the MBTI for work. As our communications styles are very different, we wanted to know what my personlity type included. I was surprised, but not surprsed once I was began to read what my personality traits were. Yes, it states I am a born leader, but I also emphatize with people. In relationships, it says, "Fool me once, shame on you... and I will forgive, but I will never forget. As much as I wanted to say this is not me, it really is. I also enjoy music, arts and loud crowds, but I also enjoy quiet moments. I like helping elders and children, and I also feel for when family and friends are going throught things. I like to be there for them and I will play devils' advocate to make you see the other side of things. As far as my professional career amd my leadership style, it was very spot on. I enjoyed taking the MBTI personality test as it helped me to undertand ME.

Very interesting evaluation that has given me much more to consider. I was actually quite impressed with how each trait is broken down into sub traits. I always had a feeling that I was more extraverted than most tests gave me credit for, I kept typing as an INTJ on a few other sites, but I know that I am more extraverted and social than many introverts. Because of my work ethic, I don't enjoy going to parties, and typically (especially growing up), many people at parties have different aims in life - ones that I do not agree with. So, the fact that I don't like social events (typically), doesn't mean I am not an extravert. This test captures those nuances quite well, further, it breaks down those nuances into additional ways that one can consider. There is a lot that I got from the test personally.

Simple to use with well communicated results.

The test component was very easy and quick to complete. The report was very balanced in addressing all the finding in every category. Findings were all described in the positive and able to be absorbed without defensiveness.

I found this test to be a real eye opener. I had heard people describe me in certain terms my whole life but didn’t fully understand it until I took this test. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to work on themselves & develop certain skill sets as it will make learning them easier if you know where they sit within your personality.

I took the test just from sheer curiosity and was actually surprised to see how accurate the resulting matches are to me, or at least how I view myself. This is extremely helpful both in understanding myself more and relating to others. Thanks a lot!

I think this is a good site but it would be nice to know you will have to purchase your results ahead of time.

easy, fast and informative!

I’d say it got me for a lot of things. Some areas seemed to clash, but I’ve been told I’m a very contradictory character myself. But the result breakdown was very helpful and satisfying.
