Reviews of TypeFinder® Personality Test

I had a MBTI assessment done years ago as part of a leadership training, and was curious to see if something had changed in my perception of the world in all those years. And it did, mildly. The insights were spot on, and the test easy to get through. Highly recommended.

The test gives a clear impression of "who I am", or rather of "how I am". It helped me to understand certain aspects of my life that had been somewhat of a struggle. The reason I have rated 4 stars is that, for me, some questions can be interpreted in different ways. Since English is not my mother tongue, in those cases I had to guess what the developers of the test intended to ask. I think this is an inevitable issue with online tests; not everybody thinks the same. Despite these (few!) unclear questions the result of the test is clear and I can recognise myself in it very well. Of course, after reading the report, there are questions. The helpdesk of Truity has faithfully answered my questions and suggested diverse sources where I can find more information. This shows that I'm not just a number to them, and that is important to me.

Interesting to see how detailed it can be based off of a view questions.

This test was enlightening and gave me a better understanding of why I do the things I do. The result was surprisingly accurate.

I am glad I took this personality test. I was somewhat skeptical of taking it, because I have thought that tests like this stereotype people, but I found the full report encouraging as it points out that this test is mainly to help me understand myself better and that only I can determine what kind of personality, with all its facets, is truly like. I appreciate the way the report explains different qualities involved in personality. It did help me understand myself better and I believe this information will help me be more accepting of myself instead of critical. Thank you, Charlene

I found the test to be mostly accurate and agreed with the results except for one area. However, even with that exception, it opened my eyes as to why that result may have been generated. I discovered that the proposed career fields aligned with my chosen field and that gave me a sense of relief, as opposed to always wondering whether I am in "the right field." It also gave my insight to other career avenues if I chose to explore my options. I appreciated the feedback on how my personality type levelled up with the 16 types and it gave me insight into why some of my relationships evolved the way that they have over my lifetime. I feel this is an accurate, helpful and insightful tool.
