I'd listened to Brené Brown's podcast "Unlocking Us'' with Chris Heuertz from May 2020, where they discuss the Enneagram, which inspired me to research a little myself, and to take the online personality test.
Having just completed my personality test, I've read over my report and continue to have these "Yes - that's so true!" moments. And they come in both the positive and negative contexts.
I've studied Psychology in an undergrad setting, and have experienced Major Depressive Disorder for many years, along with other mental health issues. Reading this report gave me such insight into how I react to life situations, how I recall past experiences, how a pair of rose-coloured glasses has tinted my future as it does my past.
I deeply wish I had access to this information much earlier in my life, as I'm sure it would have made a difference to the life choices I made. But, as those choices are unable to be reversed, I can now look back with a fresh, inciteful view and understand why I made them.
For my future path, I'll take some time to delve into my report, to look at the Enneagram as a means for personal and emotional growth, as a guide to where I can look to gain insight, knowledge and understanding.
