Reviews of Enneagram Personality Test

I have a book called "Enneagram Empowerment" and already have a good idea that I was a 7. What I liked most about this report is that it gave me insight into my wing type (I was 65% 6 and 66% a 8 lol ) but it also went over relationships and work personality. I feel much more prepared then using just using the book I brought.

I found so much that I can use in this report and this method of assessing my personality. However, I truly believe -- having taken several different kinds of personality tests -- that I have changed so significantly over my lifetime (I'm 63) as to argue that your assessment of the "childhood origins" of me personality are completely incorrect. Traumatic situations have altered my personality as have periods of struggle and fear. As a child, I was definitely NOT an Eight. I had an alcoholic and abusive father who helped make me an Eight. I would be happy to help someone pin down this change in me by assessing my personality as a child and comparing it to my personality when I was in my 20's and 40's and now. I believe you would find a different personality for each of these ages in my life.

Seeing my results is very validating. Peacemaker number 9! Recently I was receiving way too much attention around a very private matter. All my number 9 qualities were screaming discomfort and off balance. Before I took this test I knew these parts of me were not happy. As I tried to explain to others why I was so uncomfortable with the attention, they pursued the issue further. I completely shut down and shut off. The wonderful explanation of number 9, helped me see why I have responded this way! Conflict is one part of my life I work very hard to avoid. Yes, it does come from situations from my youth. Now, all I want to do, is set the stage so I’m not in the spotlight! Just a flower in the background ? Peace as we continue to search for all of who we are.

I am stunned reading about the deep beliefs I have about myself, validating that my unique personality is not a figment of my thoughts. I appreciate the "advice" at the end of this report that guides me toward broadening the scope of my personality and way of living and accepting other ways of being.

Easy and fast repot

I found the report to be very insightful as a whole… looking a various aspects of how one functions in the world, strengths, weaknesses, how to strengthen certain aspects and give other aspects less important or power. It was more accurate than I anticipated and gives me much food for thought. I feel it is a positive tool in personal growth.

It was helpful to understand the pros and cons of who I am. I also really enjoyed knowing how to improve/be a better person.

The results both reinforced things I already knew about myself & forced me to face up to a couple of others. Extremely interesting insight.

This report was thorough and hit so close to home. It's a valuable tool for me, now, to use for my personal growth.
