I took my first Enneagram and came out a TWO. It was a very reflective insight to who I am, how I have been acting in life, and what difficulties I was experiencing. And then given a path to follow on working with these facts and bettering my life with greater satisfaction from my actions, The message to me was highly positive, yet down-to-earth in its guidance for me. I really look forward to engaging in more self-learning in this area. Thank you. A fair price for oh-so-much self discovery.

This test and the full report were super helpful to me in helping me identify my strengths and weaknesses and come up with a plan to help my personality work for me. I was able to read it all, take notes and write my reactions to them in Open Office, all in one afternoon. Most of what I learned here fits with what I've learned about myself through Myer's Briggs (I'm and ENFJ), and my natal astrology chart, especially my nodal pathway. (North Node Cancer 1st house.)

The one thing that I found annoying was when the Enneagram kept going on about all these negative traits for a Two that I don't have at all and never did, not even as a kid. It wasn't until I got down to the Wings and Arrows section that I finally felt the Enneagram was describing me correctly. A bit of that negativity is fine because it does show me how others probably see me at times (maybe they're less enlightened themselves ;), and it helped me understand how other people can be, but it was very repetitive and that seemed unnecessary to me.

The main difference between this and my astrology birth chart was that the Enneagram system wants me to try to find my tribe, but my astrological chart tells me I need to go it alone in this lifetime (other than my marriage), and due to chronic illness and pain I have lost all my family and friends anyway. Since I've become an adult - age 33 on - all of my relationships have slipped away, even when I've reached out to make new friends.

Astrology explains why this is and validates my experiences in this area and it warns me about people in my future too. I believe some people are meant to go it alone in life and that our soul wants us to prove ourselves in this way, so maybe those who write the program for Enneagrams would like to look into that further and come to terms with this reality for those of us who are on that path. This was under the area of 'Alienation' in the Enneagram system. Women like Sue Aikins (Life Below 0), and Sister Wendy Beckett come to mind. They serve as good role models for my life path.

The only other thing that came up was the Enneagram system told me that I have Rigidity at 11 and I believe this is because I suffer from chronic illness and pain so that's not likely going to change for me (although I do my best to support healing for myself). I don't know if the Enneagram has a way of acknowledging that or not, but I don't think this Rigidity is so much in my character as due to my circumstances.

Overall, I'm really glad my therapist suggested I look into this Enneagram system as it always helps to get more support for making the most of my time here on planet earth as a human being. Onward and upward I hope to go!
Thanks for creating such a nice, easily usable site.

I just learned about this while reading something about the shadow self last night. This report fits me to a T. I'm working hard on myself and feel that a shift has to come soon because I can't go on feeling as I do.

Very insightful and so spot on. This is probably one of the most useful personality tests I’ve taken in awhile.

I have been seeking understanding of myself, especially since my divorce at 40 yrs old. I was married with child at 18yrs and right out of high school. I was blessed with another baby 12 months later. I was a”domestic engineer” for a
25 yr. career! I became a mom of 5 kids and didn’t have much time to continue my self exploration. Then I joined Girl Scouts and became much more independent and realized
some of my many skills
and drastically increased
my self confidence!! I am still seeking all I can about myself, and every one in
my life. I took a adult education program, learned so much about myself. Then I studied
Astrology (after I became
agnostic) , this also gave me
much insight about all people.
Your program is the most insightful, informative and
“right on “ program I have
read in years. I’m wondering
if there are classes to help
further my understanding, possibly on line, of the many different concepts or is there a work book to
continue understanding the important info in your program.
I know this is quite long
winded, I hope it qualifies
my review as ligament and truthful.
I am recommending this test to all my family and friends ?????
Sincerely, Sandy

Depressingly accurate, considering I grew up from a mix of abuse and a loving household. then joined a military organization, where I was pushed into leadership roles
