What does it mean if you are both, an INTJ, and an INFJ?

Do I get to pick and choose what matches on both traits...? lol

I think it is acceptable that when you've got a "spectrum" you can shift between 2 or more personalities, i have that and i do that a lot, between INTJ and INTP, it's fun, because they're both so much intellectually stimulating. But the one that fits you most is your official one, with condition that it matches you most of the time.

It means you are a tad confused. There is no such thing.

Confusion could come from taking every 'MBTI test' that drops off the turnip truck. Most online versions of the MBTI are minimally accurate and a waste of time. You're lucky to not be asking about being a combination INTJ-INFJ-INFP-ESFP-ISTP-ENFJ.

Two pretty decent tests are the DNardi test (http://www.keys2cognition.com/explore.htm) and the Humanmetrics test (http://www.humanmetrics.com/#Jtype). The DNardi test result often lists optional types which can be checked out via the included functions profile and consideration of type descriptions from several sites.

You are free to experiment with traits, etc. however you please.

As to personality type, good tests can be very helpful; but, deciding your for-real MBTI personality type ia always up to YOU. Might as well get it right.
