Does anyone else have problems with roles that are not clearly defined and instructions that do not make sense or lack specificity?

I have had this problem many times in the past. My only advice is to do the best you can, and don't let it get you upset. The very worst thing you can do is let your frustration show. Others just do not get it. You'll come across as a trouble maker and a know-it-all. Politely and respectfully ask questions, do what you understand they are asking you to do and if necessary, ask for confirmation that you are on the right track. This will help you be seen as co-operative and willing to learn. Hope this helps.
