I am an Electronics Engineer from India. I completed Engineering with 79%. I have born technical skills. I have high learning skill and I designed my own website, a good CV. I am very good at working with technical environments. but i am not getting any job in technical field now. My personality type in INTJ. so i am little introverted. and doing a sales job and other non technical jobs is like killing my self. I cannot even explain how I feel when I am doing the non technical jobs. also my skills include multi field like IT, Networking, Civil, Auto CAD, 3DX MAx, Photoshop i know these this but I never professional studied these things I just studied from google and you tube. I am extremely good at multiple things and I am not getting any technical job. In my school days my friends say I will become a scientist that never happened and I don’t even get success in my career. But colleaques and manger are telling i am very good at technicals. now I am 28 years old and not married. my question is why i am not getting any job change? NB: I am too much depressed because of doing non technical job for 2 years I deactivated my facebook, whatsapp 1 year back and cut phone call to all my family memers. my only contact is my mom. Albertece I feel your pain on the feeling of not being recognized for your skill set. There are so many job postings on so many sites but yet why doesn't anyone respond... One of the issues I have found is most of the sites are 3rd party and the postings though new to their site are actually old on the companies sites. I am not sure where you are located but if you are in the US make sure you are applying in the right areas. Some cities are more industrial vs a city like Tampa has a lot of IT and tech savy jobs. I am not sure if this will allow my to add my email but here it is *******@gmail.com contact me if you need to talk, suicide is never an option and its said to think that is where you are in life at 28. I hope things work out soon for you just keep your head high and continue to struggle through, change will come.

Don't get me wrong, but your English (and writing) is so bad, that you can't be an INTJ (perfectionists who hate writing like that). And if you were as ambitious as INTJ's you could get work.

@INTermsofJung. Not necessarily. INTJs are vulnerable to failure because their weaknesses are generally worse than other types for adapting to social norms. His opportunities are likely to be found where he is given the flexibility to execute his plans (like small startups), and he needs to be able to express himself in non-negative ways (INTJs can be the worst of cynics). As you would know, recruiters also aren't the brightest of people when it comes to judging introverts and open mindedness. His native language isn't English, so if you were a *NT* type, you would take that into consideration. INTJs are the worst performers where they are not given room to grow - like limited finances, opportunities, and relationships. In some places, opportunities can only be found where you have many positive relationships; something that is difficult for INTJs to form. For the OP to succeed, he needs to develop his ability to form positive relationships. If MBTI has drawbacks, it would be its ability to categorize someone based on responses on a computer rather than in person, which is important for seeing if a person is being honest with their choices of answers. If anything, I'm uncertain if you (INTermsofJung), can be classified as an INTJ type (or any *NT* type for that matter) based on your limited and vague response. You may be an ambitious person, but you definitely haven't been thoughtful for developing a meaningful conversation. At most, you are an *NT* based on how you feel for the day, rather than how you truly feel and act.

Exactly. An INTJs Kryptonite is an unfulfilled life. The OP is working a job that is stifling him so of course, all areas of his life are suffering. When we are left without room to explore all of the depths of our minds, it's like our IDs overgrow like a virus. A terrible job or career path can kill an INTJ for real. My advice for OP would be live lean, save money, quit that job ASAP and do the hard work of rebuilding a life. You might be broke as hell for a while, but you have the brain to figure out how to make money so use it, but also remember that you have the capacity to see all of the systems of exploitation around you so use your powers for good. Wherever you are OP, hope you are doing better now.
