I've read lots of different matches, to me it seems according to those my best match is either ENTP or ENFP. I'm more of a sensitive INFJ. What are your experiences and the types you seem to get along best with?

I'm a male INFJ. I'm single, but I have an amazing female friend who is like no other friend I've ever had. She's an INFJ, too. There's a personality test on this site that will show you your ideal match:

Yeah, I got ENFJ surprisingly. But there's still a part of me that wonders if I match any of the types really. I can be needy, and that seems to drain the ENFJ. Did you happen to take the test?

Hi!  I'm late to this conversation, but in case you still need some advice (and neat subject by the way)...

I think it really depends on the individual.  However, I am sure there are certain types that are better suited to the INFJ (I, too, am an INFJ female).

Personally, I'd say an INFJ would do better to pair with a fellow introvert.  I know the ENTP and ENFP are known to be good for our type, but I don't think that's always the case.  For me, I feel like having an extoverted partner might become tiring after a while, and like they don't full understand my needs.  However, this may not be the case, especially for every INFJ.  Similarities can be good, but so can differences.  But I feel like having a fellow introvert as a boyfriend/husband would be nice in the long run.  (Staying in watching movies/talking/etc. rather than going out to parties or something.)

On another note, my best friend is a male ISTJ.  We have our differences, but I would say we are pretty compatible from a personality standpoint.  Though I can't speak for every ISTJ guy.

However, I feel like the best match for an INFJ is honestly probably another INFJ.  Seems like two INFJ's would be able to really understand each other and their needs, and get each others view of relationship.  Again, this may not be true for all cases and individuality must be taken into account (from both sides).

Hope this helps.  And hope you have found or will soon find someone amazing and perfect for you!
