How many intj do you know? I've read there are about 2% of us out there.
But in my class 2 of my three absolut best friends are intj's the third is istj.
Are we that good friends because we all are pretty smart or is it just a coincidence. We have been friends sins we were 6years old

Hi!

I'm a intj. I feel like I'm an alien on this planet. lol! I'm 34 and can honestly say I've only came across 1 person that I felt was similar to me.

Hi Tonia,
I am also a female INTJ alien, lol. I have never met another female INTJ, so I couldn't resist teaching out to say hi. I would love to chat sometime. Also if I may ask, do u have trouble sleeping? Thanks

I know 2 INTJs, and they're both female, which is even rarer than male INTJs. Although I'm not super close with either of them, I feel blessed just knowing their personality type!

Also, I think it's really easy for people to mistype themselves as INTJs, especially people who are actually ISTJs. Hell, when I took the test I got INTJ, even though I'm actually an INTP. That's why I'm sometimes skeptical when someone says they're an INTJ. I always need to investigate a little further.....

I agree. If someone says they're an INTJ, I'm usually skeptical. As for myself, I took the Briggs-Meyer test two or three times, went through over 10 personality websites relating to the subject and compiled the facts to come to a final conclusion.

You ladies are so lucky. I've never met anyone like me.

My best friend and I are INTJs and (we're both female). We're quite the weird combo. I honestly don't personally know anybody like us in real life. I met a couple other INTJs online (one guy and a girl). I guess it's more likely to meet other INTJs based on mutual interests. I'm very picky about the people I interact with so I guess that it's more likely for me to meet another but considering that we're introverts I guess we're harder to spot. Most people I know don't really put a label on their personality, but I don't think that I personally know any other INTJ apart from my best friend. Right now I'm trying to find out what type my other friends are by sending them tests, although I have a pretty good guess about most of them.

I'm like the most INTJ like person in the world. I am not surprised they only make up 2% of the world. I have never actually met one.

Here is an INTJ from South Florida.

I've never met anyone like me in person I feel like a lone wolf in a world full of zombies although I don't know if I'd even get along with another INTJ if it came to it.
I have enough trouble getting along with people as it is.
Intelligence and intellectual conversation is rare nowadays if you come across that I'd hold on to it.

Jay.

I feel what you're saying. I think we would get along because we are all logic based. The ladies in the prior post are great friends. The things that make us different from others are the same things that could bind us (INTJ) together. I still haven't met another INTJ to be able to test my theory. I think that I'd be able to discuss my current ideas or knowledge quest with an INTJ and they would be just as excited about the discussion as me.

I'm an INTJ. I have done the testing multiple times including two tests which were recommended and paid for by my employers. My specific engineering career fits my INTJ personality very well. I found that many of the online descriptions of INTJ fit me very well.

I forgot to mention that there are four other INTJ colleagues that I have worked with in my technical career. Although we were all INTJs, we still have some differences in the ways that we work and in the ways that we interact with people. I suppose that some of us are hardcore INTJs and others are borderline INTJs. It seems that different INTJ people may also have different levels of intellectual capacity.

Im INTJ and am only 16. I feel like an alien compared to my peers in school. There always going to parties and wasting there time and brainpower on parties and drink, placing no time to look at the future. I feel like im the only one that sees things through sometimes. This is with my parents aswell. My mother like all women likes a glass of wine. My reasons for hating alcohol dont seem to render in her head. I fill my head with Detective riddles, science discoveries and how the world needs healing, and for that I get called 'Boring' and 'Anti-social' because I dont have a Girlfriend yet. I see one as a liability for my future plans as a relationship of any kind at my age is all but going to end 'in tears', as people like to say. When I do see a girl I like, instead of asking them out I find I turn into Sherlock holmes by observing how the react socialy to me, others, there strenghts, weaknesses etc. I always come to the same concluction that they are only a liability and besides most girls in my school LOVE makeup, which I find provocative, deceving and false. I couldnt fall in love with a girl who hides there appearence behind makeup. And when I decide to shun my natural desires for the opposite sex asside, its then I start to hear people talk about me and friend slipping there friends secret crush on me out. I try to ignore them and persue my dreams but its really and truely hard. Its like my mind dosent switch off. I subconchusly ponder the same problems over and over until a sound concluction is birth. I realise this is starting to drag and bore you by now so heres my question? Have any of you felt the same as me and particularly women, do u have the same problem when it comes to attraction in men??
