hi I'm an ISFP student. So recently I've been having lots of trouble in my school. I feel like nothing I'm learning will actually matter once I'm an adult. I like learning but not useless stuff I don't have to know. I used to be really good at science and language arts but my grades have really plummeted. I just feel so unmotivated to do this work when it's never going to benefit me. My parents have really high expectations for me and it's a ton of pressure that's just overwhelming me instead of motivating me. My brother is an INTJ and he does really great in school which just makes me look worse by comparision.

so is there anything you have to help motivate me with school?

I am also an ISFP, and I am struggling with the same issues that you have described. I love music, and I plan to have a career in the music field. I feel the same way about school. It is really boring, and I don't think that it is worth my time. But, I remind myself, if I want to be successful in college, then I need to learn this stuff. If I don't, then I won't be successful in college. If I'm not successful in college, then I won't be successful in finding a career and doing what I love. Just keep reminding yourself that this season of your life will pass. One day, you will be free to do what you love and live a successful life.
